Bass Plus Acoustic Panels offer a high performing solution for situation where increased absorption for lower bass frequencies is required. This can range from home cinemas, music rehearsal room to larger multi use function halls.

Bass Plus panels can also be a very good option for special education needs spaces (SEND) and used to meet the BB93 guidelines. Pupils with hearing impairment, autism and other special needs are often very sensitive to specific types of noise, particularly those with strong tonal, impulsive or intermittent characteristics. 

The ProSound Bass Plus panels help by targeting a wider range of sound frequencies in this situation to help improve concentration and attention.

The soft materials used in the panel are designed to absorb sound energy that hits them and stop this energy from continuing to bounce around the room. It does this by converting the sound energy in to heat.

Because it absorbs this energy the room acoustics become clearer and quieter and that is because less of the sound energy is remaining in the space and bouncing around it.

As a general rule of thumb we look to cover around 25% – 30% of of the wall / ceiling area to achieve a good high level of sound absorption.
